SRARNZ Conference Poster

This year I presented a poster at this year's SRARNZ conference in the beautiful Ōnuku Marae in Akaroa. It was four days of sharing the latest research on reptiles and amphibians in New Zealand with the nation's most renowned experts!
I presented a poster that serves as a little teaser to my Master's project on the ecology and translocation of Otago green skinks. They were translocated to Orokonui in 2016 and what what we can tell they've done pretty well, but more data needs to be collected in order to really tell how established the population has become. That's where I come in! One of my MSc chapters will be an evaluation of how successful green skinks have been in making Orokonui their home. I wanted to draw people in to look at my poster with an eye-catching skink portrait with Te Korowai o Mihiwaka silhouetted in the background.
